Time spent in the sunlight of Mammoth Lakes.

The rhythmic whir of spokes and chains as feet circle and dust flies. Sunglasses create geometric shadows underneath a clean white helmet.
Friendly sunlight warms tanned skin and mountain air flows around arms dancing to the wind of an open window.

Clear water falls and pools, daring visitors to test their breathing in its sharp coldness.

Shoes come off and dirty feet slip into the sharp cold of the river. The intensity stings then turns to numbness. Goosebump covered skin glistens metallic in the sunlight, the feeling is addicting.

As the glow of sunrise begins to emerge from the dark mountains, heated mist rises and turns golden, showering all in its ethereal energy. The contrast of the heat of the water and the cold of the air is muted by the warmth of colorful towels.

“Come back again”, the grasses seem to wave as car doors close on another adventure.
